Leadership & Vision Dr. Leke Osipitan US

Orumak Associates is an organization registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria, with the aim of providing solutions in the built and unbuilt environment in areas of transportation, procurement, real estate and construction estimating. The organization is led by Dr. Leke Osipitan who have acquired knowledge academically and have gathered experience for over 35 years locally and internationally in all areas of the services being rendered by the organization. His vision is to ensure value for money, on-time delivery, and provide quality in by finding solutions to land transportation issues, procurement, real estate and construction estimating based on briefs received clients and on-site investigation towards provision of needs as demanded.

A Foundation of Excellence Academic Credentials

Dr. Leke Osipitan attended Yaba College of Technology where he studied Quantity Surveying. He proceeded to post graduate school and attended Ogun State University (Now Olabisi Onabanjo University), Ago-Iwoye, where he obtained Master of Science (MSc) Degree in Transport Studies. He later attended the University at Albany, State University of New York, USA, to study Urban and Regional Planning, and obtained Master of Regional Planning (MRP) degree. From the same University at Albany, New York, he studied Geography and earned Master of Arts (MA) degree in Geography. He proceeded to Indiana State University, Terre Haute, Indiana, United States for Doctoral study in Technology Management. He earned Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Technology Management and specialized in Construction Management.

Proven Expertise Professional Experience & Achievements

Dr. Osipitan is a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (MNIQS), a Registered Quantity Surveyor (RQS) with the Quantity Surveyor Registration Board of Nigeria, a Chartered Quantity Surveyor of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport. 

He has worked on public projects and infrastructure developments over the years in Nigeria and USA and participated from project initiation to closeouts. All were done within budget by avoiding unnecessary cost overruns.  Performed comprehensive planning by gathering necessary information towards analyses and documentation for applicable services   

He is also a scholar and researcher who have made presentations at conferences, both locally and internationally, has published articles in newspapers and peer reviewed Journals. He had received academic scholarships, which include Henry Spurrier Scholarship from the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, United Kingdom, and Graduate Scholarship from the Advance Institute of Transportation Education (AITE), Region II, New York, United States.

His hobbies include Music (organ playing), Reading and Community Service.
